Went to see Minority Report this afternoon. Excellent film! The vision of the future was very intriguing, much like Blade Runner, which was also based on a Philip K. Dick story. I found the idea of directed advertising especially interesting, an obvious extension of what we currently see on the web, but extended to the real world. Don't miss this one if you like good, hard science fiction.

Going to the in-laws' for a July 4th get-together tomorrow. Hope everyone out there has a safe and enjoyable holiday.

Wired magazine has published it's Sci-Fi Top 20. While I can agree with Blade Runner in the top slot (although 2001 deserves it as well, imho), it just hurts to see Star Wars and Terminator so far down the list.
